At Groom to Bloom, we believe...
Proper grooming is essential to having a happy, healthy, thriving dog.
Grooming is more than aesthetics. Regular grooming for your dog is just as important to their health as a healthy diet and regular exercise. There’s nail trimming, ear cleaning, sanitary area checking, and skin and coat wellness. When properly maintained, it helps your dog be a happier, healthier member of the family.
That means sticking to a regular schedule with the right groomer. Did you know that grooming isn’t regulated? That means anyone can pick up a pair of shears and call themselves a groomer. Not us. Groom to Bloom is owned and operated by Lauren Grant, a master trained groomer and member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association.
Grooming takes training.
Grooming takes training for everyone involved, especially our four-legged friends. Dogs on a regular grooming schedule are much more accepting of their spa day, making it more enjoyable and safe and enjoyable for both the dog and groomer.
A good groomer is AN advocate for dog health and wellbeing.
Lauren is known as “the honest groomer”. She’ll always put the health and happiness of your dog first, sharing tips and advice that will help you be the best dog parent you can be.
Grooming takes time.
When you book with Groom to Bloom, you can be confident knowing your dog will receive our groomers’ undivided one-on-one attention. Every dog has different grooming needs - from type of coat to temperament. That means some appointments may be longer or shorter than others. We always provide the safest and most comfortable experience for dogs.
OUR SERVICES
If your pet is booked for a full grooming, this includes a nail trim and ear cleaning! We will bathe, prep the coat and trim however you like! We also offer nail trims and ear cleaning as a single service by appointment only!

Lauren Grant, owner and operator of Bloom to Groom Pet Salon, is a tiny gem in the Verona / Hartington area north of Kingston. This lovely lady has groomed my very timid cockapoo Annabelle three times now with wonderful results. Lauren takes great lengths to ensure Annabelle has a quiet environment to have her groom done (like giving us the first appointment of the day and not booking another animal at the same time). She has even sat and cuddled with Annabelle for a half hour on the first visit to get Annabelle used to her and with each appointment Annabelle is getting more confident and comfortable with Lauren’s touch. If you want a groomer who will treat your fur baby like you would, please give Lauren a call. She is truly a warm and wonderful groomer.

Lucy our Newfoundland had her first spa day with Lauren at Groom to Bloom. Lauren is an amazing groomer. Lauren is caring, experienced, professional and creates a calming and positive atmosphere for the dogs she is caring for. Lucy did not like the K9 dryer but Lauren was able to work with Lucy and give us recommendations to work with her at home. At Groom to Bloom you can tell Lauren cares for the dogs and wants the dogs to have a positive grooming experience. Also Amber the assistant presents as very caring in her interactions with Lucy. Lucy will be returning on a regular basis. So glad we found Groom and Bloom. Lucy had many compliments on our walk this evening.

My dog has some severe separation anxiety and I wasn't sure how her first visit was going to go, but it went off without a hitch. She uses top of the line products on all the dogs and you can tell how much she cares about them. I bring my poodle to her and she does an amazing job!
